Message of the Quran
What is the message of the Quran?
We have brought few verses from the Quran, these verses convey important message for the mankind. In this article we will read those verses first and then we will discuss about the messages in those verse and at the end we will summarize the whole message.
Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. 3:2
Message here is there is no one worthy of worship except Allah.
Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing. 33:40
Message here is Muhammad (pbup) is the messenger of Allah and he is the last prophet.
So combined message of theses two verses is, there is no one worthy of Worship except Allah and Mohammed (pbuh) is His messenger.
- O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous – 2:21
Message here is –All of us are created by Allah, we were nothing before, Allah gave us existence.
- And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. 10:45
Message here is our life in this world is very short compared to our life in hereafter, as if it is only a day or part of the day
- Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deeds – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving – 67:1-2
Message here is this life is a test for us, a test whether we follow right path or follow evil.
5. So, direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the nature (fitrah) of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. 30:30
Message here is Allah created every one of us with natural capacity, innate nature to recognize Him.
- And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly. 2:281
Message here is after death each one of us will stand one day before our Allah to face the consequences of our actions in this life.
7a. Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally……9:72
Message here is those who followed the commands of Allah will be in the paradise forever.
7b. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger – then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever. 72:23,
Message here is those who disobey Allah will be in the hellfire forever.
When we combine last two verses message is those who followed the commands of Allah will be in the paradise forever and those who disobeyed Allah will be in the punishment of hell forever.
So, the summarized message is like this,
There is no one worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad pbuh is his last and final messenger.
We are all created by Allah and we were nothing before, Allah gave us existence.
Our life in this world is very short comparted to our life in the hereafter. It will be like a day or part of the day.
This life is for a test, whether we follow right path or we follow evil.
Every one of us are created with natural capacity to recognize God.
After death one day we will stand before our God to face the consequences of our actions in this life.
Those who followed the commands of Allah will be in the paradise forever and those who disobeyed Allah will be in punishment of hellfire forever.
This message is applicable to all of us.
