Many people will wonder how The Quran can be a beauty of Islam. Well there is no surprise, Quran is absolutely a great beauty of Islam ….because

1.    Every word of the Quran is for word of God.

The Quran is a revelation; it is not a book written by someone; it is a divinely inspired text from God Himself. It is beautiful, poetic and a source of guidance and wisdom for entire humanity.

Since the Quran is a revelation each and every word of the Quran is from God, this fact reminds us that The Quran is an extremely valuable treasure. Each and every word of the Quran is a gem. Every address in the Quran is from God and it is God who is directly talking to us through the Quran and this is a wonderful experience.

It is a human psychology, to feel happy, safe and confident when we are in the company of a powerful person, group or authority and we have their support and protection. Same way believers feel happy, safe and confident when they read the Quran. When believers read the Quran –and they come across God addressing them as “O my servants”, “O Children of Adam” “O those who wronged themselves, don’t be despaired” and many such other addresses – they feel confident and relaxed.

2.    Teaching us about God and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The Quran is the best source for learning about God, about His persona and about His attributes. How to recognize Him? How to build a relationship with Him? All these facts are discussed with great details in the Quran, there is some statement about God in almost every page of the Quran. The Quran provides us with accurate description of the God, which we find nowhere else.

The Quran tells us that God has sent prophets for guidance of mankind, throughout the world at different times. The Quran informs us that Muhammad (PBUH) is also the prophet of God, and he is the last prophet in the chain of prophethood. No other prophet will come after him, so it is incumbent upon us to believe in prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and follow his guidance.

Knowledge of God, his prophets, and Day of Judgment – inspires us to pass our life as per divine guidance and gain the peace and success in this life and life after death.

3.    The Quran gives us a full picture of life.

What we see around us is only one side of the coin of our life. There are many complex events and circumstances in our life, caused either by nature or by fellow humans, which we feel are unjust, we are wronged, oppressed or deprived, we feel helpless, enraged and anxious.

But the Quran tells us that there is a Day of Judgment. All of us will have to meet our Creator on that day. The Quran insists that Day of Judgement will be there for sure, meeting with the Creator – is an inevitable event, every human will meet their Creator eventually. Divine justice will be served that day, people who were wronged will be compensated and people who wronged others will pay severely for their evil deeds. People will be rewarded fully for their faith and good deeds and will be punished for lack of faith and evil deeds. Day of Judgment will be a day of joy for some and a very difficult day for many. Rewards of good deeds are great and punishment of bad deeds are severe.

The Quran keeps reminding mankind about this Day of Judgment relentlessly, it is basically the second half of our life which is not visible to us. The knowledge and belief in Day of Judgment gives us the full picture of our life and inspires us to do all that is good and fair as per our capacity and remain calm and content in adversity, hoping for divine justice. This saves us from a lot of anxiety, pain and doing anything that is harmful to us and others.

4.    Poetic Language:

• The Quran is written in a beautiful, flowing language that is poetic, eloquent and powerful. The Quran is written in Arabic, that language is known for its beauty and expressiveness. The language of the Quran is also highly evocative, using imagery and symbolism to convey its message. The Quran’s language is very compact; it encapsulates the message in a few words. The Quran is a masterpiece of conciseness and eloquence.

The Quran’s language is so sweet that it is often described as “sweeter than honey and melodious”, and it is also a work of literary and artistic beauty.

5.    The Quran is a guidance for all of us.

The Quran was revealed as a guidance to entire mankind and for this reason; the Quran contains numerous direct addresses to humans by God-Allah

Guidance is the main reason why the Quran was revealed, -guiding mankind on how to know the Creator and how to build a relationship with Him, how to earn His pleasure. Allah himself has provided the details of His attributes in the Quran and also the details of why He created all the universe and what is the purpose of it? What does He want from the humans? The Quran describes in detail how God wants us to pass our life, what are do’s and don’ts of our life.

We learn through the Quran, how to achieve peace and success in this life and remain in eternal comfort in the life after death. Guidance and teachings of the Quran are applicable not only to Muslims but to all the people living on this earth today, and to all those people who will come till the end of time.

For the points mentioned above we can absolutely say The Quran is one of the beauties of Islam.
